My client, a leading Consulting & Advisory firm, is looking to strengthen their IT Strategy / Advisory / Transformation Practice and are therefore looking for strong, experienced Consultants to join this expanding offering. They are looking for experience across all sectors, but primarily Financial Services (mainly Retail Banking), Energy/Utilities/Power, Oil/Gas and Retail/Consumer Products.
You will receive a market leading salary & package, strong training and progression, work with a very experienced and ambitious team, and have access to the most interesting IT Strategy/Transformation programmes with many FT100 clients. The majority of engagements are in the South East, therefore little travel required.
We are ideally looking for candidates who have a strong academic background, demonstrable rapid career progression within a blue chip IT or Consultancy environment with the desire to work within Consulting.
You must have strong interpersonal skills with the punch and impact associated with a client-facing role.
You will possess a sound knowledge of either: IT Strategy, IT Business Transformation, Pre/Post Merger Separation/Integration, Enterprise Architecture, CIO/CXO Advisory, IT Cost Reduction, IT Effectiveness, IT Governance, IT Sourcing, aligning IT with Business Strategy, IT Process Improvement, Target Operating Model design and optimisation or Digital Strategy and Transformation.
At Consultant & Senior Consultant levels, you must know your way around a large IT department and have had exposure to IT Strategy/Transformation project based work.
For more senior roles, a Consulting background is essential, along with experience of large scale Programme/Project Management, Business Development and C-level Client Management. Managing large scale client programmes and engagements, you will work at client CIO/CXO level, providing IT Advisory expertise and leadership. Your role will be split between delivery and business development; therefore you will be a focal point for proposal/bid/proposition development and provide thought leadership internally & externally, along with mentoring junior consultants and managers.
