senior strategy manager

Our client is a growth strategy consultancy intent on creating highly profitable solutions to their clients' problems. Their client list includes Google, Spotify, Paypal, Dixons/Carphone, News Corp, Barclays, Cadbury Mondelez, United Biscuits, McCain and GSK.

Experience

Top academic records (Oxbridge / 1stclass degree).
Min. 2 years' experience in Strategy Consulting and min. 4 years' Client side (up to min. Manager level)
A full strategy consulting toolkit. You should be highly analytical, with strong quantitative/commercial skills. You must also have the creativity and inspiration to generate product and proposition ideas.
Be comfortable dealing with C-suite stakeholders, the confidence to be a trusted advisor to their clients and the commercial nous to negotiate new business deals.
 Experience of owning a p&l, selling client work, negotiating and closing deals.

Responsibilities

You will be allocated project teams of around 5 people (Strategists and Designers) to deliver each work stream.
You will be expected to:

Act as a trusted advisor to the client, working collaboratively to deliver answers to their most difficult questions, building up a methodology from a blank sheet of paper
Develop work to the highest possible standards of delivery (quantitative, commercial, qualitative and idea generation)
Inspire and excite by using their experience to offer case studies both in and out of category
Delegate and project manage profitable delivery of projects
Attend key client meetings to push the conversation to the highest level of corporate strategy
Uncover new avenues for business development with existing clients, pitch, negotiate and close on new business deals
