senior manager - people & change, financial services

Role Description
Our client is a household name in the advisory space showing particular growth in its People and Change practice (HR Transformation, Organisational Change, Talent & Assessment and Workforce Optimisation).
They are looking for experienced Change practitioners with a strong financial services background (Retail, Investment, Life & General Insurance) who can help provide thought leadership towards the top of the organisation

Role Responsibilities
Work closely with the leadership in People and Change to: drive business growth; deliver outstanding client work; and be the face of P&C within
    banking and change
Represent banking as part of the cross-functional People and Change community
Drive the focus on banking change and culture, and the broader cultural change agenda
Lead risk / conduct culture engagements and related practice development activities
Contribute to the business development and sales initiatives including bid, proposal and contract / commercial negotiations with our Banking clients
Take a role in the growth of the team and wider practice, sharing knowledge and supporting the development of team members

Required Skills
Investment Banking and Retail Banking experience is essential
Demonstrable record in management consultancy at recognised blue-chip firms
Be credible and confident building new relationships at senior levels
Deep expertise in cultural change and change management practices
Demonstrate capability in one or more of the following areas: HR Transformation, Talent Management, Organisation Design and Workforce Optimisation
Has experience of working with risk and compliance colleagues and has understanding of the requirements with the regulatory environment
Coach and develop team members to ensure excellent client delivery whilst also enabling their career development
Be able to generate thought leadership, delivering a viewpoints in the market to both create new thinking and drive new business opportunities
Have excellent personal, written and oral presentation skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders (of all organisational levels)
Demonstrate a commercial awareness evidenced by an ability to identify business opportunities

Sector Knowledge and Qualifications:         
Risk and conduct culture and FCA / PRA requirements
Insurance and Investment Management knowledge and experience
Chartered CIPD status or an Occupational Psychology background would be desirable
